At Sprouts, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use our Services—including the mobile app, website, Sprouts IDE Companion (Cursor / VS Code–compatible editors), and optional integrations such as the Sprouts GitHub App.

If you use the Sprouts IDE Companion, we process account authentication events and gameplay data needed to show your Sprout, progression, and store features. Optional Model Context Protocol (MCP) tooling in supported editors may expose read-only Sprouts data to your editor's AI assistant; that assistant is provided by your editor vendor, not by a separate Sprouts-hosted chat product.
If you install the Sprouts GitHub App, GitHub sends signed webhooks to our API. We use event metadata only (such as commit identifiers present in payloads, pull request merge signals, CI suite outcomes) to credit in-product progression where enabled. We do not use those webhooks to ingest your repository source code. See our Transparency disclosure for details.
When you connect your Strava account, we collect:

Sprouts is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
